On June 28, 2025, Mr.Dong Bin, Manager and Senior Engineer of the WEGO Dialysis Medical Technology Department, was invited by the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy to appear at the Osaka International Convention Center and delivered an English speech titled "Quality Management of Dialysis Water in WEGO Dialysis Chain Centers" at the 70th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy (JSDT). This marks the first time a Chinese non-public dialysis engineer has taken the podium at a Japanese dialysis medical academic conference, signifying a groundbreaking achievement for WEGO Dialysis on the international stage.
Speaking on the International Stage to Showcase the Strength of WEGO's Dialysis Technology
Mr. Dong Bin shared WEGO Dialysis's innovative practices in the field of dialysis water quality management with global dialysis medical experts in Meeting Room 9 (Room 1202, 12th Floor) at the Osaka International Convention Center. He introduced the scale of China's non-public dialysis centers and the patient services provided by WEGO's chain dialysis centers. Additionally, he analyzed WEGO Dialysis's comprehensive water quality management model, covering core technologies such as real-time monitoring, equipment maintenance, and risk assessment.
Global Academic Summit Focuses on Cutting-Edge Technologies
JSDT is organized by the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy and stands as one of the largest academic conferences on dialysis medicine worldwide. This year's annual meeting was held from June 27 to 29 at the Osaka International Convention Center, attracting approximately 20,000 dialysis medical professionals from Japan and around the globe. Established in 1968, the society initially operated as the "Dialysis Research Association" before officially adopting its current name in 1985. With approximately 18,000 members (including individual, institutional, and supporting members), it remains the most influential academic organization in Japan's dialysis medicine field.
Deepening cross-border exchanges promotes mutual learning in technology
After the speech, Japanese and Vietnamese experts raised professional questions regarding technical details and operational models, to which Mr.Dong Bin provided detailed on-site responses. He also exchanged business cards with multiple experts to establish follow-up communication channels. During the conference,Mr. Dong Bin engaged in in-depth discussions with experts from Japan, Germany, and other countries, exploring international standards and technological innovations in dialysis healthcare. This appearance not only showcased WEGO Dialysis's technical achievements but also fostered academic interactions between China, Japan, and the global medical field.
Milestone Significance: The "First Breakthrough" of China's Non-Public Dialysis Engineers
As the first non-public dialysis engineer from China to deliver a speech at the JSDT Annual Meeting, Mr.Dong Bin was awarded the JSDT Teaching Certificate by the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy for his outstanding academic presentation after the speech.
